Sisters and Brothers,

Belated Easter greetings to those we have not seen. We wish each of you Happy Pentecost greetings, to you and your families.

There is a time for every activity under the sun.

Time continues to move. Seconds are constantly turning to minutes. Minutes are moving onto hours. Hours to days and days to weeks. Time continues to roll. Your birth date and your children’s birth dates, are very good markers of time.

The months of May and June, form the key part of the season of spring. Spring is a wonderful season that leads us to the longest day of the year in June. By the time we get to the end of June we are half way through the year. The flowers are moving from buds to fully bloomed, as we look forward towards summer months. Time continues to roll.

Children and Young people

What further can we do to increase the number of children attending Sunday school. Each of us can encourage someone we know to attend Church with us. Parents and grandparents are brilliant encouragers, for their family members to attend Church with them. Together as the Church of Jesus Christ, we are responsible for the growth of the Church. How can we grow the Church in Christ, at Harlesden?

A big, thank you to the Sunday school teachers.

Natural Church Development (NCD) Survey

One of our lowest factors from the recent NCD survey, was loving relationships. How can we be more loving to each other? We can be very loving and caring, but the survey is telling us that we need to do more.

During the month of May, let us intentionally seek to be more loving towards each other. If someone steps on your bunion, seek to breathe in, bear the pain and ask God to give you the grace to smile. Remember we are children of God.

Property Steward

Do you have a talent for property maintenance, and property renewals. We are looking for a Property Steward to look after the Church property? If you would like to know more or wish to be considered, speak to Br Edwin..

Pray for each other

I encourage each of you to take the order of service home with you. Then use it throughout the week to pray for each other. As the family of God we need to lift each other up in prayer. If you prefer, join the weekly prayer group, that meets on Friday at 7pm.
