September - October 2026 Minister's Letter

Sisters and Brothers,

Greetings in the Name of Jesus.

We give God thanks and praise for His goodness and mercy.

Psalm 95 verse 1 and 2 remind each of us:

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;

let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

Let us come before Him with thanksgiving

and extol Him with music and song.

As I write on the 4th August, we hear of ‘wild fires’ over the past few weeks across Europe and the United Kingdom.

The high temperatures have made the land and open space very dry. The trees and vegetation are now very dry and have raised the risk of fire from a small spark.

Each of us needs to take extra care. Additionally, we need to keep hydrated, by drinking water and other refreshing drinks.

How have you coped during the extreme weather?

The scientist around the world have started their reviews. It is expected that the reviews will show the recent extreme weather is the highest on record.

We give God thanks for the time shared by Revd Roslin Hamblin with our congregation and around the Eastern District. We also thank Revd John Danso for leading our Communion service in August.

We encourage each member to invite at least one person, to join you in worship. We also encourage parents and grandparents to invite the children to come to Church.

As a Church we are preparing the second National Church Development (NCD) survey. Sr Heather A will inform us of the timing.
